About disposable

A disposable vape is a sealed, self-contained device: the battery, the coil and the e-liquid are built in and matched to each other at the factory. That removes every maintenance decision a refillable device asks you to make, which is why disposables are the most common starting point and the most common travel option.

The headline specification is the puff count — an approximate figure the manufacturer publishes, ranging across our range from around 600 to well over 9,000. Treat it as a guide rather than a guarantee: the real figure depends on how long each draw lasts and how often you use it. Capacity in millilitres and battery size in mAh tell you more about how a device will actually perform, and larger disposables are increasingly rechargeable, meaning the battery can be topped up so the full tank of liquid can be used.

Nearly all disposables use a mouth-to-lung draw, where vapour is drawn into the mouth first and then inhaled, which is a tighter draw similar to a cigarette. If you are replacing a device you already like, matching the draw style matters more than matching the brand.

How to choose

Puff count against price
Compare cost per thousand puffs, not the sticker price. A higher-capacity device often works out cheaper over its life, provided you will realistically finish it.
Rechargeable or not
On larger disposables the battery can run flat before the liquid runs out. A device with a USB-C port lets you use the full tank rather than discarding it part-used.
Flavour and strength
Flavour is fixed for the life of the device, so buying a single unit before committing to a multipack is worthwhile. Strength is likewise fixed and cannot be adjusted.
Disposal
These contain a lithium battery and should never go in household waste or recycling. Use a battery or e-waste collection point.

Frequently asked questions

How long does a disposable vape last?

It depends on the puff count and how you use it. As a rough guide, a 600-puff device suits occasional use over a few days, while devices rated at 7,000 or more are intended to last a week or longer for a regular user. The manufacturer figure is measured under test conditions, so treat it as a comparison between models rather than a promise.

Can a disposable vape be recharged?

Some can. Higher-capacity models increasingly include a USB-C port so the battery can be topped up until the liquid runs out. The device is still disposable — recharging extends the existing liquid, it does not let you refill it. Product specifications on each listing state whether charging is supported.

What is the difference between a disposable and a pod system?

A disposable is used once and discarded. A pod system is a reusable device with a rechargeable battery and replaceable pods or coils, so the running cost is lower over time but it needs refilling, charging and occasional coil changes. Pod systems also let you change flavour and strength whenever you like.

Why has the flavour started tasting burnt?

That usually means the liquid is running low and the wick is no longer being saturated. A disposable cannot be re-wicked, so a burnt taste is the normal signal that the device has reached the end of its life.

How should disposables be stored?

Keep them upright, at room temperature and out of direct sunlight. Heat degrades both the liquid and the battery, so a hot car is the worst place to leave one. Store all devices well out of reach of children and pets.
